The GHNPCA demonstrates that the strategic communication is very important to win over antagonists and gain the support of allies. In this context, some key activities include: (i) continued capacity building of women’s groups; (ii) successful demonstration of income generation activities on the ground; (iii) extension of coverage to other left out poor communities; (iv) improved communication and relationship with wider range of stakeholders; and (v) closer and effective linkages with other government agencies to channel resources to the benefit of forest dependent communities.
